PSM is built on the foundations of its employees. With decades of engineering experience and a wide breadth of skills, we have a talented team ready to meet any challenge.
Meet our team of experts
Our senior team are leading the way across every department, delivering quality in every aspect of the business.
With more than 200 employees across four sites, nothing is more important to our success than our skilled workforce. From CAD modellers, laser cutting programmers and quality inspectors, through to sheet metal workers, welders and our support staff, we have an exceptional team at PSM.
Zelika Clarke
Zelika joined PSM as HR Manager in 2019. Since then, she has guided the business through the complexities of COVID-19 and subsequent rapid company growth.
As a trained mental health first aider, Zelika has helped many employees at PSM in numerous ways. As well as managing the team’s training and development needs, she is also working towards a CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma. In 2022, Zelika's efforts were recognised in BDO's Future Talent of Manufacturing.
Alex Hughes
Alex introduced himself to PSM at a recruitment event that had been organised by his previous employer, who was closing a production facility.
Apprentices have always been important to PSM, and we were able to swiftly support the transition of Alex’s training contract to PSM. He now plays a key role within the CMM inspection team while also continuing his studies.
Steve Aston
Our long service board takes pride of place in our reception. Steve has been with PSM since 1971 and is our longest-serving employee.
More than five decades later, Steve is still going strong, demonstrating the true craftmanship of sheet metal work that has underpinned our company success over the years.
Kieran Bolton
Kieran Bolton joined PSM through a partnership with a local employment programme. Initially completing some work experience with us, Kieran demonstrated a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and was offered a full-time role.
In July 2022, Kieran was shortlisted for an Outstanding Achiever of the Year Award and invited to the Houses of Parliament in recognition of this achievement.
Adam Freeman
PSM has a long tradition of strong family connections and multiple generations working together.
Adam Freeman followed in his father’s footsteps by joining PSM in 2010. He has progressed through the company, which includes completing his Level 3 Diploma for Managers. He currently project manages complex prototyping assignments.
Galyna Melnyk
Galyna Melnyk was forced to flee her hometown of Ivano-Frankivsk in West Ukraine at the start of the war. She moved her family, not knowing where they might end up.
With an impressive work background in the Ukraine, Galyna was an ideal fit for PSM. She is now a key part of our inspection team and enjoying her new life in the UK.
